At an emergency stakeholders meeting held on Saturday, 25th January 2025, the South East Youths Stakeholders Forum elected Nwaorisa Gerald Chinonso (Pigo) from Imo State as its new Spokesperson.
The meeting, convened to address pressing issues affecting youths in the South East region, witnessed the participation of key youth leaders and representatives from the five South Eastern states. Following extensive deliberations, Nwaorisa Gerald Chinonso (Pigo) was unanimously chosen to represent the collective voice of the Forum.
In his acceptance speech, Nwaorisa expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and reiterated his commitment to amplifying the voices of South East youths while championing their interests at all levels. He further pledged to foster unity, inclusivity, and progress among the youth across the region.
The South East Youths Stakeholders Forum remains dedicated to advancing the socio-economic and political development of the South East and ensuring that the region’s youth play an active role in shaping its future.
