In furtherance of our reconciliation and decision to work with the Honourable Minister of the FCT, Chief Barr. E.N. Wike, as a political group, we paid him a courtesy visit last night at his residence.
“We had a 50 man delegation from the different strata of our team, where we met with key stakeholders of the Minister’s political family. Present at the meeting were my brothers; Chief Tony Okocha (CTC Chairman of our party, APC), Senators Allwell Onyesoh, Thompson Sekibo, Wilson Ake, Rt. Hon. Chibudom Nwuche, Hon. Marcus Nle Ejie, Chief Felix Obuah, Hon. Elder Chidi Wihioka, Hon. Maurice Pronen, Hon. Augustine Nwokocha, Hon. Legborsi Nwidaadah, Hon. Mrs. Irene Inimgba, Hon. Barr. Worgu Boms, Dr. Ipalibo Harry, Barr. Golden Ben Chioma, Mrs. Mary Allagoa, Hon. Paul A., Hon. Fred Atteng, Hon. kingsley Ibanichuka, HRH Fyneface Amechi, Chief Boodo, Chief Kadilo Kabari, Chief Mrs. Rose, Hon. Innocent Ajaelu, Hon. Dominic Nwator, Engr. Emma Amadi, Engr. Ineye Jack, Hon. Gift Nkayi….etc
“As it pertains to Rivers State and the APC, we have long been open to reconciliation and had submitted to several committees in the past, (both formal and informal meetings), to engender Peace in the party, but as you know, the former leadership didn’t think it necessary. As always, we are committed to building a stronger All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, and that requires us to work in sync with the current Minister who represents the state in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
“If we want Tinubu to succeed, we can’t work at cross purposes with his appointees in the state.
“I want to continue to thank our supporters who have shown understanding and commitment to our course, we believe that this decision is right and the effects in the coming days would justify our leap of faith.
Thank you.”
